WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 18 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I thought about my fic once or twice
   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

My writing this week has been very interrupted so it has been hard to build momentum. I am hoping to get a marathon going today that will carry me through the weekend and get this next bit of writing I have in front of me finished and posted!

Too much going on today to write. Weekend isn't looking much better, but you never know!

I added about 1500 words to a fic I've been working on for an event and I think I have a clear idea of the ending so I'm hoping I can finish it tomorrow. (I have to finish it SOON because it's due for the event it's part of on. . .Tuesday, I believe.) I wanted to finish it tonight but I have to be up in six hours for work so maybe tomorrow after work.
