Didn't get to make much progress this week due to work and two Bad Brain Days back to back, but was able to write a little bit before bed last night, and it helped get me unstuck on a part I was trying to put together, so a little progress was salvaged!! :D

I'd say my favorite genres to write/read about are rivals to lovers and I can't remember the exact name of the trope but any fic that's like "I will find you in every universe"! Gets me every time b/c I REALLY love the soulmates trope xD

Writing has been hit and miss, but that's less because of not being able to write, but rather taking on a non-personal writing project in a style I'm under-educated in that needed a quick turnaround. I have gotten some writing for my current WIP done, though!

My favorite tags to read right now are centered on not super popular ship, BAMF [female character underutilized by cannon], and Canon Divergence. For writing, I love doing a hurt/comfort, Role-Swap AU, and underutilized character interactions.

It's been a good week for writing! I've gotten three chapters done and am getting to set some fun plot points into motion. Still a few more chapters to write before I get to the really exciting parts, so I'm so close! Fingers crossed body and brain continue to cooperate, and that time allows for more steady progress.

I honestly haven't been reading much lately, but I do love me some angst and hurt/comfort and exploring heavy and/or complex emotions. That makes up a lot of what I write, too. I love to see people struggling with how they actually feel versus how they think they should feel, and resisting some aspect of themselves or what they want. Reluctant soulmates, denying an identity, trying to adhere to religious commands (hellooo Mandalorian fics I never got around to writing)... it's all good stuff.
