I used to worry about sounding like a "professional writer," and would consequently over-stylize my work. As the years have gone on I feel I've gotten a lot better about relaxing and writing more naturally. I'm still far from perfect, mind you! There have been a lot of good tips and pieces of advice posted already. I'm definitely loving the collective knowledge of this group. :D
