sibyllevance and I were brainstorming what we were hoping for in this comm. Here are some of the things we came up with:

Resources: whether on writing in general or fic-specific.
Info on challenges that feel like they are low-pressure/otherwise have a lower mental barrier to participating.
Recs for fic that does certain things well ("I'm struggling to write situation X, has anyone seen this well-handled?").
Concrit; finding betas; etc.
Cheerleading. (For moments like: "Oh, I'm thinking of signing up for this challenge, but I'm really nervous" or "I want to post my first fic but I'm scared!")
General fic-writing meta (on characterization, research, etc.)
A place to ask all those newbie questions you're afraid/embarrassed to ask!

What would you all find useful? What do you envisage this space being used for? Please feel free to post your ideas, or leave a comment here (or both). I'm sure there are lots of things that would fit in this community that none of us have thought about!
