WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 31 -- Saturday

Greetings on Saturday, the last day of the last week of our January WIP Challenge!  I hope you accomplished your goals this month and are excited about your plans for writing in February!

What kind of a writing day has it been today?  Or, if you haven't gotten down to writing yet, how did it go yesterday?
  •     I thought about my fic once or twice
  •     I wrote
  •     I did some planning and/or research
  •     I edited
  •     I've sent my fic off to my beta
  •     I posted today!
  •     I'm taking a break
  •     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment
Today is a good day for talking about general writing topics or posting snippets of what you are currently working on.  Feel free to share whatever is on your mind with your writing today!

I have set aside today as my writing day, because I have 4 ficlets that need writing and posting this weekend in order to get caught up with my challenge fics.  I'm giving myself permission to do nothing else except writing today!  I should be able to do it if I would just START and not let myself get distracted.

I finished writing my Small Fandom Big Bang story today! Still need to get it beta'd, but i have 2 months for that to happen. I am very pleased. :-)

I am in the mood for writing today, and plan to do nothing else too. I don't have any other challenges that are in waiting, so it is back to WIPs that have been languishing.

Definitely a planning day. Lining up the next round of challenges, including [community profile] rarelywritten and Ship Swap (over on LJ), plus a couple of big bangs, both of which thankfully have lower word count requirements (because I'm pretty good at tanking 10K+ "normal" big bangs, alas).
