If a dormant piece wants to be finished, it will let you know in no uncertain terms. Last year I finished two stories that had been sitting for over a decade -- one actually started, the other never even started past the idea stage -- and it was like a hot knife through butter. Now if only my abandoned series would demand I pick it up again...
