It's that time again: signups for next month's WIP challenge are now open.

In the past, we've had some people join midmonth, or comment on check-in posts without officially signing up. That's fine, too -- I'm glad there's a way for the challenge to be useful in a variety of ways!

But for those of you who find the commitment of saying out loud that you're going to finish something useful (as I do!), please sign up as below.

Signups will be open until the end of June.

Level of challenge: 1 chapter, 1000 words, 1 fic finished, whatever you like
Fandom(s) involved: if you know at this point
What you're looking for from the challenge: this could be as vague or specific as you like: someone to be accountable to, someone to remind you to write, someone to bounce ideas off, etc.
What you could offer other participants yourself: ditto!
How people should contact you: DW message, e-mail, IM etc.
Time zone: useful for seeing who might be up for a writing session at a time convenient to you

I couldn't continue to run this challenge without assistance with the daily check-in posts. Many thanks to everyone who's helped with the check-ins before!

Could I please get some volunteers to help with check-ins for July? A week per person would be ideal, if possible (I usually assign weeks running Sunday-Saturday just for consistency, & so I don't get gaps of one or two days, but if that's difficult let me know). I'm happy to help come up with suggestions for discussion topics or other things to do for the check-ins if need be. Just let me know if you're able to help out. Thanks!

& I hope for those of you doing the challenge this month that it's going well -- we've heard from lots of you during the check-in posts, but if we haven't heard from you yet, or in a while, why not take a moment to comment on yesterday's post (or today's, when it goes up)?

Level of challenge: 2 fics. My

kinked big bang (which, okay, I haven't technically started yet barring a few hundred words and some ideas, but it still needs to be done and the more I get done before uni starts in August, the better) and a 45k WIP I really should have finished by now called Glitter. I only have about three chapters left to write but can I get off my arse and write them? No.

Fandom(s) involved: a large collection of RPS fandoms. That second one is a massive crossover. XD

What you're looking for from the challenge: Just to get these finished. I really want to be able to start posting Glitter soon so I'd like that done. And yes. The more I get done now before uni starts, the better.

What you could offer other participants yourself: Encouragement cookies? They seem to work for almost everyone. :D I might be up for word wars/writing sessions too if they're at the right time.
