Greetings on Sunday, the first day of a new writing week!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

Discussion - Since we're more than halfway through the month, let's talk about goals -- how are you doing at working towards your November writing goals?  Good?  Bad?  Fair-to-middling?

Today hasn't started yet, but I hope to get a bunch of writing done this afternoon.

I am doing NaNo and mini_wrimo and so far I am winning on my modest goals for mini_wrimo (100 words every day), and failing utterly at NaNo, but I never really expected to win that anyway. I just wanted to feel motivated to write this month, which I do.

I did hours of research yesterday, which was tons of fun -- I love doing research! It took hours because I got off on a few rabbit trails, but I also found lots of helpful info for a fic I've been assigned for a Yule Fic Exchange coming up at the end of the year.

I haven't made much progress towards my goals, but doing research yesterday put me in a good frame of mind for pushing forward with writing, so I ought to be able to work on something today and actually make some progress!

In the wake of posting Invader Zim/Breaking Bad crack, S2 of Stranger Things apparently gave me the motivation I needed to start my S1-based fic in which Barb isn't killed off. Making great progress, just needs a ribbon to tie around it.

Thinking about what to write next. Going to busy during the rest of November, but I might have time for a project amidst all the things real life is choosing to throw at me.
