Was expecting today to continue the post-vacation relaxation of no writing, but ended up with some last minute scribblings on Yet Another Buffyverse/Bodyswap. (As ever, there are some things of which I never grow tired.)

I don't set goals for writing as much anymore, except to always at least think about it every day. I tried goals when I was writing the series, but they never really stuck; the only things that sort of meet that descriptions are ficathons, challenge responses and other 'by request' type stuff where things are set in stone to one degree or another and it's up to me to whip up a meal that satisfies those requirements. Those were always fun, helped me stretch my muscles in unexpected ways, and it's something I should get back into.
