Question: How much effort does it take to review your favorite canon?

I think I will also add canon review in some form when I copy/paste... er, post check-in updates!

I did a bit of outlining today and wrote down some ideas that popped up in their proper spots in the outline.

It's not much effort to review my favorite canon, because I enjoy it so much and find it easy to find what part I need to review in order to help me move forward. I am mostly using books for this kind of review. It's a bit more difficult when reviewing canon involves watching an episode (or a bunch of episodes), just because of the time involved, but it's still enjoyable!

Writing! Favourite, not much? It's mostly tv that it's easy to play as I go about my day.

I'm just trying to survive life. Summer tutoring schedule has begun, and I come home from that every day only to deal with watering plants, picking berries, feeding and medicating animals, cleaning up the kitchen… and tonight my brother asked me for help with his Linux install just when I was going to *try* to get something accomplished. So I cuddled a cat in between helping him, and I didn't even get worksheets done tonight, much less writing, ugh.

That depends on how deep a review I need. It takes some time, but if it's just a "what happened in that scene" question, that doesn't take long to find the ep in question and the scene. Time is really the hardest part of any effort - otherwise it's easy.

I've had headaches bordering on migraine the last couple of days, so writing hasn't happened this week, much to my disappointment. But. Last week I did reread all of one of my old fandom canons, Loveless, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get some fic out of that eventually. :) If my headache gets better during the afternoon/evening, I might try to get some words out.

As for reviewing canon for my fav fandom... that's depends on how deep I want to go, as it's a Japanese band fandom. I can either just rewatch a concert DVD, an interview, etc., or start hunting for interview and twitter/instagram post translations, and that takes a lot more time and effort!
