WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 21 -- Sunday

 Hello on Sunday!  What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

 

       - I thought about my fic once or twice

       - I wrote

       - I did some planning and/or outlining

       - I did research and/or canon review

       - I edited

       - I've sent my fic off to my beta

       - I posted today!

       - I'm taking a break

       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

 

Sunday Discussion:  It's a new writing week!  With July wrapping up, how are you doing so far at completing your writing goals for the month?  What will be your writing emphasis this week?

Most of my writing time lately has been spent working with college student on essays -- which is more edited to editing than writing, and it's not my own stuff! However, I did make a bit of progress in my WIP, just not enough to be able to say I had accomplished my goal for the month. So I'll be concentrating on finishing up writing the next chapter for posting before the month ends! (And this week is the end of helping the student, as the essay is due, so that will free me up big time!)

I finally posted something new for the first time in six months. Two somethings, even. Working on two more.

I am hoping to write before the day is done. Have to shake off the rust of this month. I might not be able to make my goal, but I will at least make progress towards it.

I've been doing canon review while getting ready to go on vacation. I won't have much internet this week, but I'm taking a notebook with me to try to get some writing in.

I was doing fairly well on my writing goal for a couple of weeks, but then got stuck on a scene last week and trailed off, need to get back at it.

I got 250 words on my AUex assignment the other day, but I've been so swamped with life and things this weekend that writing did not happen.

For finishing up my goals, well, if I can finish my AUex assignment and make the further edits on not going back that my alpha/beta reader suggested, I'll be doing OK. It's the worksheets I create, sadly, that are my main concern - I have a lot of pressure to try to finish so much of them by mid-August and I probably can't do it, but the closer I get the better.
