Discussion: when do you consider a fic or other writing project to be finished?

I consider things done when I can't find anymore holes in it, or when I'm so done with working on it that I can't stand it anymore. Sometimes, it's done when I've done the best I can with what I know.

I consider something finished when I feel all the loose ends are tied up and there is a sense of closure to the story I am telling.

For the last week I've been squeezing out sentences while stuck in an editing loop. Yesterday I flipped out about something trivial because of all the other shit going on. Almost immediately after, when I sat down to write, I finished one scene and started another with almost no difficulty. With a few other things starting to turn around, I look forward to more positive production today.
