WIP Challenge Check-In Day 25
Hello, happy Thursday!
We're closing in on the end of the week now. How has everyone been doing with your writing this week? Any plans for writing this weekend?
For today's discussion, feel free to share details about your writing process. Where is your favorite place to write? Do you prefer typing it up on a computer or writing with pen and paper? Do you listen to music while you write? What about your favorite genres or fandoms to write for?

Oh boy, a chance to talk about writing!
Typically, I write at my computer desk in the living room (not my favorite place, but currently my only place to write). I like writing by hand best, but my hands prefer typing, pain-wise. I always listen to music while I write (I have to be listening to something, because otherwise my brain overrides itself with distractions). Current favorite fandom is DC/Batman comics (with others on the side). Genres I like include slice of life, smut, humor, mystery/casefic, and fluff.

I can definitely relate to the music thing as well; my brain gets so easily sidetracked if I don't have music or something similar playing while I write.
Also, good luck with your writing this weekend!!

I love writing at my computer desk in my office. I also do fine with writing on my laptop on the couch. I used to write a lot by hand but I am almost exclusively writing by computer now and I think I do better that way. I always do better with my writing if I listen to music, but sometimes I forget to put it on and then I wonder why I can't get anywhere! My favorite fandom to write for is anything related to Tolkien's universe, and my favorite genres (are these actually genres??) are gap fillers and alternate universe.
