I posted a Treat for Kaleidoscope!! (After much much flailing about titles...) I'd really like to do at least one more but I don't think the one I want is really getting anywhere... I have until Sunday morning (my time), but we'll see...

Still, am pleased at what I've been able to do so far.

I do look at TV Tropes occasionally, but it's such a timesuck I try to be vigilant. ;)

I got back to editing inbetween undoable RL tasks. It shouldn't have been a surprise but I find that doing it in the morning makes it easier (I find many things that resuire concentration easier in the morning). Writing, on the other hand, doesn't seem to mind if it gets done at night or in the afternoon.

Ive hardly looked at TV tropes; but for Hikago, the site seemed to think the show had gay subtext!

Ahahahaha, TV Tropes, oh, man! Yes, very much so -- especially when I've just entered a new fandom, and the glow of "I MUST READ EVERYTHING ABOUT IT, EVERYTHING THERE IS!" is in full force.

And then I start editing its page. :D At least if it's a smallish or book-based fandom, anyway. (A whole bunch of things on the Dragaera page are there courtesy of yours truly, not to mention Bujold and several others...)

No writing as such for me today but I did get a bit of an outline done for a ficlet I probably won't have time to do anything with it.

Not sure what my word count is yet because I still have some more things to type.

Got a bit stuck because I had some of a conversation for my big bang fic in my head this morning but I'd forgotten it by the time I got to write it down. Shame because it contiunes on from one in the ep :( I am doing a little research as and when I need to though, so maybe that conversation will come back to me when I next put the DVD on.

Never used TV Tropes, I tend to just go with what I know already for my fandoms rather than using sites like that and googling, unless it is vital.

I wrote/posted a Kaleidoscope Treat today! Hopefully I'll be able to write one more by Saturday night (my time).

Oh, man, TV Tropes! Reading a fandom's page there is really helpful for me, because the way they categorize and verbalize concepts helps me think about them. Of course, I always have to balance it with the whole "falling down the rabbit hole" thing :D

Able to get down another 600 words of my Big Bang. Wanted to shoot for 800 words today so that the chapter is 2k even, but a little short on that. It took a while for me to get going with the scene I was writing (and the free food from work probably didn't help either, lol), but at least finished that part.

I read all the TV Tropes that pertains one of the fandoms I'm following. There was one fic I wrote that was meant to debunk of the tropes in there, only to suddenly become my headcanon how the two characters in the story got together, LOL.
