WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 17 -- Tuesday

Hello on Tuesday! What kind of a writing day has it been so far today -- or if today hasn't gotten going yet, how did you fare yesterday?

       - I thought about my fic once or twice
       - I wrote
       - I did some planning and/or outlining
       - I did research and/or canon review
       - I edited
       - I've sent my fic off to my beta
       - I posted today!
       - I'm taking a break
       - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Tuesday Discussion: Do you work on one writing project at a time or do you have multiple projects going concurrently?

I'm almost finished with my pinch hit and it's gonna need a serious edit before reveals, hopefully I can find a beta or it'll have do been self-edited.

I usually have one big project on the go with some smaller projects in reserve so that I can switch to something quicker/shorter if I'm feeling stuck with the bigger projects.

Have written today, hopefully not done for the day, but we'll see. I'm definitely a "hooked on one big idea" writer these days. If I get very stumped, sometimes I'll spin a wheel and have a look at old wips, but there's usually just one monopolizing all brain activity at a time.

I didn't write today, in the hopes that I'd clean around my desk area and/or read. I, uh, didn't do either of those things, either, BUT tomorrow I get off work a bit early (surprise! video doctor's appointment) so I'm hoping that I'll do one of those three tomorrow.

I used to be very One At A Time Only, but then I realized that stressing about thinking about the Wrong Project was not actually helping me get the Right Project written, so now I bounce back and forth to whatever gets my attention first. (Although, tbh, sometimes I just end up Not Writing multiple projects all at once! That's multi-tasking!)
