WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 3 -- Thursday

Hello on Thursday! How's the day going so far for fic? (If you haven't gotten started on your day as yet, how did yesterday go for writing fic?)

I could say fic writing is terrible because I haven't gotten into it for a long time -- but I think I will look forward with hope and say it is excellent today because I have a plan and the time to make it happen for my WIP today. I will plan to spend at least 60 minutes on it, in the hope of getting a new opening paragraph for the next chapter written. If all goes well, that will prime the pump and I will end up spending most of the day on it!

My five words: I feel optimistic about writing!

After a miserable two days of slump, I was able to get back into the swing of it just in time to write day three's prompt for AitCM in about 30 minutes today. If I can manage, I might try to work on the next day, too. That slump ate the entirety of my small buffer, so I've got my work cut out for me now!

Fic-wise? Actually excellent! I wrote 27 words today while at lunch and decided that was a perfectly respectable number to be done. (I've been averaging 0, so that was very good today.) It was definitely less than 30 minutes, but they were all enjoyed.

How do I feel about that? Yay!
