WIP Challenge: Check In, Day 7, Sunday

Hi. I'm The RCK, and I'll be doing check in posts this week. I'm coming off a week of getting very little done. I need to learn to write while my daughter's around. Summer's coming up, after all, and she'll be around most of the time.

Today's discussion question-- Do you have any bulletproof plot kinks? If so, can you write them or do you have difficulty getting the right distance from the story to manage it?

I'm not sure I have anything bulletproof any more. I'm not reading nearly as much as I used to, at least not as much fic (I'm reading more books). I think the closest I come is time travel stories, the kind that loop back from some point in the future into the middle of canon (or a bit before the start of canon). I've never tried to write one myself. I'm not sure there's a canon I know well enough to play with that way.
