Today's discussion topic: What do you find easiest to write: description or dialogue? Do you tend to write that first to help out, or do you leave it to last so you can focus on what you find harder first?

Yesterday I did some research, which was helpful. Today after I finish with Real Life, I hope to put some words on paper, and see how much progress with the story I can make.

I find writing dialogue easier, and I tend to write as part of my notes for a story snatches of dialogue that set the tone for where I want to go. Description is harder, but a lot of times when I know how the dialogue is going to go, I can visualize how to describe the scene.

I took a break yesterday and today, I think it has helped a little because I'm a little more clearer on what I'm going to be mainly working on for a while.

I find dialogue to be much easier to write than description although I do try and make notes in my notebook and on Libre (if I have a typed version) that remind me to add the descriptons later.

For me, dialogue is much easier than description. I often bog down on descriptive passages and have to get past them by putting in a placeholder note such as "[describe room here]." I come back and hammer them out in rewrites. Dialogue tends to flow fairly easily.
