Today's discussion topic: Tropes time again. Do your favourite tropes to write and read about shift over time, with fandom, or with characters, or do they stay the same? (Assuming you have them that is.)

I do have a few tropes here and there that I write about (most of them linked to romance, and in at least one fandom, babies). Making one of the lead characters dead or presumed dead is a big one, usually linked to amnesia.

Haven't written or done much in the last few days, due to Thanksgiving prep, but I did get a Star Wars drabble written Tuesday.

I got some writing done yesterday and am just going to finish off and hopefully post today. I started outlining for a Taggart fic but I need to rewatch Best And Brightest so that I can arrange the timeline, I just have to wait until I go home next week to do that because I didn't bring any DVDs.

I don't have favourite tropes because I tend to read everything and I write the things I don't see often enough in my fandoms.
