Greetings on Saturday!  How is it going for you today with your writing?  Did some of you participate in a writing session today and was it time well-spent for you and your story?  Are there other successful (or not so successful) writing experiences to report?

My quote today isn't about writing specifically , but it's from a writer I admire, and the thought applies pretty well to something writers struggle with daily -- getting started!

I don't have a word count yet to report, but I have been working on one of my fics, and I feel encouraged about it. I need to take my own advice, though, and do what my quote says -- just get started. I can edit and plan and outline all I want, but the story won't get written until I start putting some words on the page. ;-) Still time for that today, though, so that's where I'm heading now -- to actually begin and see how far I get before I have to stop!

Woohoo, good luck getting some words down! You can't revise until there are words there, so go go go! :)

I did SO MUCH today, relatively speaking, during the extended writing session! \o/ I edited my main WIP--still needs so much work, but is now in a state where I can get it betaed--& worked on a fill for yuri_challenge, which is edging towards completion.

I was surprised by how long everything was taking, too--I'd hoped to also work on a fic_promptly fill, but my energy/time ran out!

I finished Part 14 of Sakura Court, and managed to write a lengthy entry for my RPG, so I'm pretty satisfied with today. :)

I am going back to the drawing board for my bang story, but I finish the others so I feel better.
