Discussion: Writing is great and all, but what are you reading right now? Does it help--directly or indirectly--with your current writing goals, or is it completely unrelated?

I thought about a fic and planned a bit.

As for reading, I am currently in the middle of rereading The Two Towers by JRR Tolkien (as part of rereading the whole trilogy of Lord of the Rings). It is directly related to my writing goals, since all but one of my stories is in the LotR universe. I am also reading a nonfiction book called The Best Yes, about setting boundaries and saying no to things that overextend me -- guess that's indirectly related to writing, because I have mismanaged my time to the extent that I don't have enough of it to accomplish what I want to with writing!

Reading? I'm somewhere in the middle of I don't know how many different books, some history, some fantasy, some porn, just a bunch.
