WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 5 -- Thursday
Hello on Thursday! What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?
- I thought about my fic once or twice
- I wrote
- I did some planning and/or research
- I edited
- I've sent my fic off to my beta
- I posted today!
- I'm taking a break
- I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

If the idea is too extensive (like when I actually start writing paragraphs in my head), I have to get up and write, even if I'm tired and don't feel like getting up. Otherwise, I usually will make a note of it, either on paper or in my phone if it's handy. I have learned the hard way not to assume I'll remember in the morning!

For me, the best times for ideas are right before falling asleep and right after waking up (and then usually going back to sleep). More often than not, I can remember them unassisted, but, later, they sometimes don't sound as good on paper as they did in my head.
