Hello on Thursday! What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?
- I thought about my fic once or twice
- I wrote
- I did some planning and/or research
- I edited
- I've sent my fic off to my beta
- I posted today!
- I'm taking a break
- I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Date: Thursday, January 5th, 2017 17:26 (UTC)If the idea is too extensive (like when I actually start writing paragraphs in my head), I have to get up and write, even if I'm tired and don't feel like getting up. Otherwise, I usually will make a note of it, either on paper or in my phone if it's handy. I have learned the hard way not to assume I'll remember in the morning!

Date: Friday, January 6th, 2017 01:22 (UTC)For me, the best times for ideas are right before falling asleep and right after waking up (and then usually going back to sleep). More often than not, I can remember them unassisted, but, later, they sometimes don't sound as good on paper as they did in my head.
