Hello on Wednesday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

Wednesday Discussion:  Distractions -- what things tend to distract you from writing?

Nothing doing in the realm of writing, maybe I'll be able to get my act together after I get home from an appointment today.

As for distractions, I am mostly distracted by undone work that I only seem to remember when I am sitting down to write! I also get distracted by the internet. Noise can distract me but I can usually deal with that by putting on my headphones and some music -- however, it can't be music with words, or I'm even more distracted.

In what was a pretty spontaneous decision, I've signed up for a big bang, so I'll be joining you from now on. I got the outline done over the weekend and put the first couple of words down yesterday. Awful words, but at least they kick-started my brain into writing mode.

I'll get distracted by everything except useful stuff. I'm not someone who gets a clean apartment out of procrastinating or something like that. ;)

Big Bangs are fun! It really does help to have encouragement to keep going for the long haul!
