WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 5 -- Thursday

Is it still Thursday?  I haven't missed posting on Thursday, have I?  Another busy morning threw me off, but I remembered in time to check in and see how it's going with writing.  So, what kind of a writing day has it been today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet?

•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Thursday Discussion - When you do research, do you do the majority of it before writing, or are you more of a researcher as needed while you are writing?

I've been too busy to write lately, but I'm hoping this weekend will be more settled. I have done just enough work on the next chapter of my WIP that I'm eager to spend more time with it.

I do a large part of my research ahead of time, but I often need to look up something while I'm writing, so I pretty much do research constantly!

Planning today as I try to overcome my tiredness. And I tend to research as I go, which is most likely a bad habit.
