WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 7 -- Thursday

Hello on Thursday!  I'm not the official Check-in Person this week, but I thought I'd nip in anyway, and ask folks how the writing is going!

Looking back at the week so far, how did your writing go?

•     I thought about my fic once or twice
•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward a day or two, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

•     I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
•     I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
•     I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
•     I'm going to take a break from writing

I've been working with students who are writing end of the semester essays, so it feels like I've been writing, but I haven't actually written anything new myself. I won't probably be able to do a writing marathon this coming weekend, but it would be nice to make some time for myself and one of my neglected WIPs, so that is in my next-few-days plans

Choosing prompts from a truly vast selection for a new challenge! And my weekend will hopefully take me on a deep dive into them. :-)
