Discussion (slightly riffed off the resurgence of the AO3 stats meme): stats. Do you pay attention to the number of hits, kudos, comments etc on your fics?

I wrote another prompt fic last night, that is currently getting looked over by Tamara, I already have my other fic back and know what changes I need to make so I'll be doing that before I meet D this afternoon and then I can post both tomorrow.

I tend to keep a low profile in fandom these days so it's not often that I'll check my stats and when I do it's usually because I've got an email from AO3. I might get around to doing the meme though for curiosity sake.

I'm mostly doing editing these days, need to get back to writing some new words!

I usually keep track of my stats for awhile after posting a new story or chapter. If I get an email from Ao3 about a comment, I'll go reply and have another look at my stats, but I don't tend to pay much attention once the posting is no longer new.
