And a question: are there any little things you like to do for when you start to write? A favourite place to work, certain types of music? Or are you a "work wherever, whenever!" writer?

Still under the weather, but my brain is maybe starting to feel less fogged, so we'll see!

My little things I do are to tidy my computer desk, put on some music, get some coffee, open all the files I might need for writing on my computer, and then hopefully get inspired. I don't seem to be able to write wherever, whenever.

I went to bed early last night so I didn't do any writing. (I needed that rest badly.) I did, however, do a bit of mental planning while driving today, and hope to have some time tonight to try to plan out my fic a bit more. So far I've just been writing the next scene, and the next, without any real plan long-term. But I do have a sort of end game idea in my head, so I'm going to see if I can't outline a bit backwards from the end and forwards from where I left off, and maybe eventually meet in the middle, lol. Then I'll at least have a sense of what to write next. Having an outline makes a huge difference in how productive I am as a writer with anything longer than a short fic (for which the outline is basically in my head, even if I don't think of it as such).
