check in day 11

Sorry I missed yesterday, I feel into a new game on my tablet and lost time all together. Oops.
How is the writing going today? What about the last two days?

Discussion: distractions. What are some of your distractions?

I am taking a class this week so don't have much brain left for writing, but I had a couple of ideas come to me that I didn't want to forget for upcoming chapters in one of my WIPs, so I spent time writing some notes today. May try to write this evening if I'm not too sleepy.

My distractions are computer games, sports, and surfing the internet.

I made a few edits… on the already-posted ficlet, but they improved it, so that's my editing. And I finished entering all the Alphas fics I had saved into my database, and having a lot of fun creating queries and reports to pull statistics out of it - but that's the break bit, lol. And worked on a test for a student, which counts for dealing with life.

Today, I've been creating worksheets, interspersed with re-reading fics in order to properly add them to my database (which is probably my big distraction - the occasional computer game is too, but reading holds more power over me *points to icon*).

Picking prompts to do for a fest today. Still deciding, but I am going to file that under planning. As for distractions, the very things I 'fic tend to be the biggest distractions of all. (But if I don't enjoy them, I won't have anything to 'fic, so ... being distracted isn't always bad, IMO.)
