December WIP challenge - signups now open!

Holy moly, where has this year gone? I can't believe it, but it's time for signups for December's WIP challenge!

We do have writers who join the challenge midmonth, or comment on check-in posts without signing up, which is absolutely fine -- I'm glad there's a way for the challenge to be useful in a variety of ways!

But for those of you who find the commitment of officially signing up useful, please sign up as below.

Signups will be open until the end of November.

• Level of challenge: 1 chapter, 1000 words, 1 fic finished, whatever you like

• What you're looking for from the challenge: this could be as vague or specific as you like: someone to be accountable to, someone to remind you to write, someone to bounce ideas off, etc.

• Time zone: useful for seeing who might be up for a writing session at a time convenient to you

I couldn't continue to run this challenge without assistance with the daily check-in posts. Many thanks to everyone who's helped with the check-ins before!

Please let me know if you'd be interested in helping out. A week per person would be ideal, if possible (I usually assign weeks running Sunday-Saturday just for consistency, but if that's difficult let me know). I'm happy to help come up with suggestions for discussion topics (& Friday or Saturday is usually the general chat/snippet/beta-seeking etc. post). Just let me know if you're interested. Thanks!

Fandom(s) involved: I have no idea -- I've been so on fire w/fic-finishing this month I have hope that I might actually finish my malingering help_japan K-On! fic before month's end. Which means anything is possible!

What you're looking for from the challenge: Camaraderie, butt-kicking, someone to do writing sessions w/(most definitely!)

Level of challenge: I am going to finish editing that fic that I completed the first draft of in September. No, really. /o\ Also I want to plot out and maybe even start writing two longer stories that have been simmering in my mind for a couple of months now.

Okay, I've been pretty much a fail most of November, but I'm in!

Level of challenge: um, writing every day, at least 250 words for a grand total of 7750 new words for the month--and because there's no way I'll be able to write on the 30th or 31st (we run a fireworks store) I'll have to accomplish those days' words prior to them. :/
