WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 4 -- Friday

Hello on Friday!  Looking back at the day today -- or yesterday, if today hasn't gotten going yet -- how did it go?

   - I wrote
   - I did some planning and/or research
   - I edited
   - I've sent my fic off to my beta
   - I posted today!
   - I'm taking a break
   - I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

Looking forward, how are you planning to spend your weekend?

   - I'm going to make up for not writing all week by having a writing marathon
   - I'm going to keep writing at my current rate and see how it goes
   - I have other plans, but I might have time to get some writing in
   - I'm going to take a break from writing

I have been taking a wee break from writing after finishing my latest project early before the due date. However, I need to get going on the next one and also try to get some words in on my longfic WIP. I am pretty busy this weekend, so a marathon will not work out -- but I hope to get some writing in!

Some Writing Yesterday

We ended up writing 300-ish words yesterday in one session. As for today we've thought about writing, hopefully our brain will allow us to write more today & this weekend.

Planning and research today. I'm going to try and get some writing in over the wekeend.

I wrote a bit (about 1,000 words) today after not touching any writing for about a week because of IRL things going on. (And marathoning Haikyu! Mostly marathoning Haikyu. I watched three seasons in about a week and a half. Oops.) I'm hopeful that the next few weeks are more peaceful so I can dedicate what time I'm not at work towards writing/catching up on my reading. I signed up for a daily fic writing event at the end of the month and only have two of the seven finished so I need to buckle down.

I have to work this weekend (and for the next six days in a row) but I'm hoping to put in at least half an hour before bed every night.

I was planning on writing this weekend, but I woke up sick this morning and have not improved since then.

Good news: I am in the process of getting into a new job! ^_^

Bad news: I now have to do all the paperwork-heavy portions while sick. x_x

I'm hoping I'll have enough brainpower to write if I end up waking up too early, but otherwise all writing will have to wait until after I get the job stuff done.
