Hello, all! By the time I finish writing this post, it will be the 6th my time, so consider this extremely On Time.
Discussion: Concentration. We all have a relationship with it. When the concentration is high, it can be great to get going on a writing project and really go to town. Suddenly, the sun has set, dinner has been missed, but the story is complete! (Or, OK, sometimes only nearly complete, but it's the same vibe.) But when concentration is hard to find...
Oof.
So, the question for today: What do you do when your concentration is shot? When you've spent 20 minutes staring at the blinking cursor without realizing it, only to come back to awareness that not a single word has been added? Do you try to force through it? Do you put it aside for another day, or another topic? Let's share!
