WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 5 -- Thursday

Hello on Thursday, sorry about missing yesterday, it was a crazy day with a major computer issue that thankfully got solved eventually.

Anyway, how's the day going so far for fic? (If you haven't gotten started on your day as yet, how did yesterday go for writing fic?)

How much time have you spent on writing fic today, roughly?

    - None
    - 30 minutes or less
    - 30-60 minutes

I have not begun my day properly yet, but yesterday was excellent, I spent about an hour on writing (in spite of my computer issues) and it was very nice and calming after the hassle of dealing with a possible computer crash (which was not the issue in the end, yay!).

I am planning on getting back into the writing today after I do some housework!

My five words: Hoping to keep up momentum!

I managed to work backwards and translate the first verse while walking back at 11pm under a very large umbrella with a heavy rucksack full of shopping :-) (And I even managed not to get any raindrops on my ink... although I didn't manage to make a clean copy of the text first with blank lines this time to pencil in my translations, and since I only have one verse left to deal with now I suspect that may never actually happen!)

The third line needs more tweaking, I think :-(

The best things come upon us unexpectedly,
As passing guests not bidden in to stay.
