Hello all! Hope is all going well! Great day to get discount chocolate!

Anyway, how was writing today? Did you focus on writing anything for this holiday (romantic or platonic)?

I did some brainstorming about an idea I had for my WIP and it helped me make some decisions about something coming up further along in my outline. Now I have to concentrate on what is currently happening and writing about it! No writing about the holiday, though.

I have actually managed to write every day since the beginning of December, which is amazing for me, especially considering I've not been writing all that much over the past few years.

I managed 140 words today, am nearly 740 words into the next chapter of my latest fic (and apparently I write longfic now?!) and feel pretty good about being semi-active in any kind of fandom again.

I'm writing in Star Wars, specifically the X-wing books of the old Legends EU. You can find my stuff at [community profile] sharpiepen or at Sharpiefan on AO3.

And I'm keeping track of my output via Trackbear.app which isn't an app despite the name, but is a neat website where you can keep track of the word count you add to your projects. I suspect it's really for authors and people writing for publication but it's free and way to use.

I posted a one-shot of 22, 000 words. If yours is getting unwieldy, you can always add chapter breaks and post the whole thing at once.

But congrats on doubling the word count!
