Poetry ficathon - signal boost

poetry_fiction sounds like a low-pressure challenge -- of the sort we like to know about around here (so if you know of more, please let us know!) -- which is starting soon. Signups are open through the 31st, after which you'll receive a stanza of poetry (this year's poet is Anne Sexton) as your fic prompt.

Posting happens in February but there's an amnesty period through March until the next poet is announced (which seems like it will be in the fall) -- so really, there's quite a long time to write if needed.

I'm intrigued, & will be participating. I only hope my creative brain can recover after the end-of-year fic exchange stuff I've done. Anyone else?

How about Gen in January? Only 500 words or an equivalent in other creative format, and no real penalty if you don't post by the 31st of the month?

That looks so tempting, but I probably need to get some other obligations done before taking on new stuff. Then again I always say this so who knows.. :P

In the meanwhile I just wanted to thank you for doing such an amazing job with this community. I've been a horrible participant but I really like it here.
