writethisfanficI just wanted to note that we've been asked to affiliate with inkitout, a year-long challenge comm for people who want to write huge amounts of words in 2011 (minimum commitment is 75k). The comm isn't limited to fanfic, but obviously can include it. If we keep the WIP challenges rolling on, it might be a good mini-challenge/motivator for those participating in inkitout!
I am hugely excited about their challenge -- though nervous (I am not, er, a prolific writer & for me 4k is a long fic!). Sign-ups are still open should anyone else be interested!
