I have discovered the addictive nature of the Sherlock fandom's 221B ficlet. 221 words, the last word beginning with the letter 'b'. It's like writing haiku or something. I've written 3 since late last night. I gave up and started a 221B series on AO3, even though they're not related. So that's 663 words posted, at least. :)
I've been plotting and planning on the Giant Sex Drugs and Rock & Roll AU of Doom, and will probably do some more tonight.
Okay. The thing about 'writing rules' for me, is that they're really more like 'guidelines'. You have to do when to break them. And I mean, adverbs are parts of speech for a reason. Ditto adjectives. I wouldn't want to write without either. I'd end up sounding like Hemingway, and I HATE Hemingway. :)
