Do you start looking over a WIP then open photoshop or movie maker and play around with graphics for a few hours? Or do you try and focus on the writing?

Today was good. I didn't actually write, but I spent time today (and yesterday) reading through a stalled WIP and editing it to bring it back up to speed. I looked at my outline and added to the research already done, and I feel ready to jump back into it now. I'm currently trying to choreograph a battle scene for the next chapter (which has been dormant for a really, really long time).

I have the problem of looking over a WIP and then start surfing or watch a show instead of writing. I'm not sure if it's because I'm secretly avoiding working on it, or if I actually am just easily distracted. Sometimes it's a lot easier to be ruled by the distractions than it is to buckle down and work on writing!

I got the last bit of editing done and that fic is now finally finished. It's only taken me all week to do. :( Now it's out the way though, I can focus on my big bang.

Sunday was unexpectedly good to a fic I never thought I'd revisit, which was expectedly bad for my studies. But, I'll split the difference.

Then I wrote a poem, which was very out of left field.
