A quick heads-up...

Just a quick reminder: the seventeenth (!) round of Fic_Rush is starting in about half an hour, over on LiveJournal.

Most of you have probably already heard about the 'rush, but if you haven't - it's a 48-hour fanfic writing marathon held once a month, with hourly check-in/chatter posts (so rather like this comm, only speeded up *g*) and quantum ninja penguins. Check out our archived chatter posts at fic_rush_48 and see if our silliness might be helpful to your wordcounts! :D

We're all friendly to newcomers; just drop into fic_rush_48 any time this weekend and comment on the latest post to say hi! And bring some strange fic-related animals with you if you have any - I seem to have acquired a sentient jellyfish as a prophylactic against normalcy, in addition to the skateboarding ninja pandas the comm maintainer asked me to bring this time, and I think there's going to be a ninja aardvark. ;-)

No fanfic flamingo-inspired discussion question today, I'm afraid. I've got end-of-week exhaustion & am not feeling very clever! But please go ahead & use comments to not only talk about how it's going, but post snippets (I think some of you have a lot of snippets, judging from previous check-ins!), ask for betas, ask for other help, or just chat! ♥
