Hi everyone, how has today been for you?
I survived the winter sales and I looked over a fic when I got back to my mum's this afternoon, it's the first time in almost 2 weeks that I've had the chance to do so.
Discussion topic: spelling mistakes. Obviosuly we use spell checker on the a computer and a dictionary when we sit down to write but what about when you spell a word but it still looks wrong when you check. What words trip you up when you're writing? Have you ever spotted a spelling mistake after you've posted something?
Earlier today I was looking through my notes file for one of my WIPs and I noticed that I'd spelt forgiveness wrong several times, because of that I had to go through almost 3500 words of my fic to make sure I didn't have any spelling mistakes. I have dyslexia and I use assistive technology as well as the standard spell checker and my dictionary and I often add words to it to pick up on the spellings that I'm struggling with.
