lilly_cHi everyone, hope you're having a good day with the writing and other things. I had an unexpected day off with my shifts getting swapped and with the extra time I've got some editing done along with a little planning for another fic.
Discussion topic: do something scary. We all have things that scare us but what about when it comes to writing. What situations, themes, characters, fandoms etc scare you to write? Have you ever written or attempted to write them?
My big writing fear is pulling off a smutty M/M/F threesome and make it convincing. I'm not sure what it is that puts me off but whenever I try to write, it just "looks" awkward and feels a tad unnatural. On saying that, I rarely venture in to NC-17 territory unless it is something I need to write.
I was quite nervous about writing domestic violence and drug addiction too, I have written both those themes now so they are less scary to me but I doubt I'll ever revisit those particular themes unless an idea or something from my source materials for either grabs my attention.
