I hope you've all had a good day with the words. I'm just about to finish a short fic and if it isn't too late, post it before I'm away to my bed, we shall see.

Discussion: stalled fics. Have you ever looked over a fic that stalled and realised where you went wrong with it? Did you try to salvage it? Did you just give up on it completely?

I recently found two fics that stalled on me and while I was reading through the various notes and scenes I had already completed for them, I realised that both could be salvaged to an extent, although it'll mean changing the focus a little bit but it works out better because I can cut out what would have essentially been filler. Altough it isn't stalled as such, I have another fic that won't co-operate with the timeline that is so clear to me, I'll likely wait and see where the general idea and scope take me after I find 2 hours to watch the episodes I need for it.
