Today's discussion question: Does music or other noise help you write or do you prefer silence if you can get it?
I like having music on if it's something I know reasonably well that can blend into the background even if I decide to sing along. Sometimes, I like having the TV on, but that's iffier. It's harder to find something that has just the right level of distraction to work for me. It has to be in English, and it has to be something I'm not hugely invested in seeing.
