WIP Challenge - Check In, Day 13 - Wednesday

Do you have any favorite characters to write? Are there characters you can't write at all?

I seem to write Kudoh Yohji from Weiss Kreuz a lot. It's relatively easy for me to get into his head. Beyond that, I flit from fandom to fandom so much that I don't have a chance to establish which characters I really like to write. I seem to need some sort of emotional hook, some level of understanding of the character, in order to write them.

I can't write Farfarello from Weiss Kreuz. He's been peripheral in a couple of stories I've written, but on a fundamental level, I don't get him. I don't understand him well enough to write him well. I'm working on that.
