WIP Challenge Check-in, Day 1 -- Thursday

Hello on Thursday, day one of our new May Challenge.  How is the writing going today?

Discussion:  Do you have any particular grammar issue that plagues you as you write?

I spent a couple of hours last night doing canon research (rewatching anime).  It was relaxing but also helpful -- I got some good notes and I'm starting to get a feel again for the story I was working on.  More of the same this evening!  As for grammar, I do well with grammar, but I know I use too many adverbs.  At this point, I don't worry about it too much, but it is something I think about as I write.  Also, I think I use too many commas and semicolons, but I usually can catch those during the re-editing phase.
