What represents a successful writing session for you?

I consider a session successful if I can crank out 500 words. Some days, I'm happy to get 50 or 100, but I like to manage more. Some days the words just flow. Some days, they're like pulling teeth.

Today's the last day of school for my daughter for the year. That means my writing time is going to be difficult to come by. I'm going to have to learn to write while she's around and while the TV is going. Challenging but I do want to keep writing and not wait until September. Wish me luck!
