Hello on Thursday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today?

•     I thought about my fic once or twice
•     I wrote
•     I did some planning and/or research
•     I edited
•     I've sent my fic off to my beta
•     I posted today!
•     I'm taking a break
•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

For Discussion:  Timer -- when writing for a set period of time, how do you time yourself?  Do you use a timer of some sort?

I do not usually use a time when I write, but I have been thinking about doing so.  I have an egg timer app on my computer that is useful for such things, and it might be what I need to get back into the discipline of writing.  I'm going to try it later on today, writing for a set amount of time to see how far I can get with my projects today.
