How is the writing going today?
Discussion: Oneshots or chaptered fic. Do you like to write oneshots? Chapter fics? Or do you do both?
I generally prefer to write oneshots becasue they're fairly quick to finish and post. At the moment I have two chapter fics on the go and it's nice to be able to expand on ideas and themes that wouldn't work for shorter pieces. The only real downsides to posting chapter fic are not knowing when I'll be finished and also that I keep having to go back in and edit, mainly to fix spellings and missing words but it is giving me a learning curve in terms of slowing down and giving my characters more opportunities to really think about the changes to their lives.
