Greetings on Tuesday!  What kind of a writing day has it been today?

•     I did something else that I'll talk about in a comment

For Discussion:  Do you have an ongoing WIP?  How long have you been working on it?  What made you start writing it in the first place?

I'm thinking about my fic, but as expected, my time is filling up with other things.  I have several ongoing WIPs, the longest running of which has been going for 12 years (the last few years I've not added chapters as often, so that is extending how long it takes to finish it!).  I started writing it because I wanted to fill in some gaps that were not really dealt with in canon, and I also wanted to explore what would happen to the story if a character who dies in canon is instead rescued to continue living and taking part in the plot.
