For discussion: Let's talk about endings! What's it like for you when you're finishing up a fic? Do you have trouble keeping your energy up? Do you race through until the final sentence but then drag your feet going back to edit? Or maybe it's beginnings (or middles!) you find difficult, & churning your way through to the end is easy! If not, are there any tricks you've picked up to keep yourself focused & moving forward through the final stretch?

Read a bit of Charlie's Angels fanfiction and then went back to my own and edited a bit. As I am currently having writer's block on my Avenger Story, I think I am kind of happy with what I did so far. However, overall I am pretty unhappy about my lack of progress.

I rarely finish longer fanfic, so I'd say the beginning is usually easier, but not always. It definitely helps to have someone with an interest in the story to talk to.
